Window cleaning in Fairhope
The best window cleaning you’ve ever had, or it’s free.
Bay salt on the west-facing glass, oak pollen on everything else, and shade that never quite dries out. Fairhope glass has its own set of problems, and we keep it clear with a set neighborhood day and both sides of the glass.

What Fairhope does to a window
Fairhope sits on a bluff above the eastern shore of Mobile Bay, and the afternoon breeze comes straight across the water and up the hill. The bay is brackish rather than full-strength Gulf water, but it still carries enough salt to leave a dull film on west-facing glass within a few weeks, and the homes along the bluff, Scenic 98 and the streets that run down to the pier get it first. From Fairhope Avenue east toward Greeno Road the salt thins out, and what takes over is the humidity, which keeps the glass damp through the morning for most of the year.
The trees are the other half of the story. Downtown and the Fruit and Nut district are shaded by live oaks and old pecans, Montrose sits under some of the biggest oaks on the Eastern Shore, and all of it drops pollen from late February into April thick enough to turn porches and sills yellow. In the shade the north-facing glass and screens hold moisture long enough to grow a green film in spring and fall. Out at Rock Creek and Quail Creek the fairway sprinklers run on well water, and the overspray leaves a line of hard mineral spots along the lower panes of the homes that back onto the course.
A quarterly plan suits most Fairhope homes, with the inside glass done once a year, and many people add a spring visit to clear the pollen. Bayfront homes along the bluff, Scenic 98 and the Fly Creek waterfront usually go to every month or two, and owners of the older downtown houses often have us come before the spring arts festival weekend when family is in town. We work downtown and the bluff on one day, Montrose and Fly Creek on another, and the subdivisions off Highway 181 on their own, and we send a text the morning of each visit so nobody has to wait at home.

Fairhope window cleaning questions
How much does window cleaning cost in Fairhope?
First-clean pricing varies by home size and service package. A first cleaning, inside and out, is $259 for a home up to 2,000 square feet, $329 for 2,000 to 3,500 square feet, and $429 for larger homes on our Silver package. After that, a quarterly maintenance plan runs $60, $77, or $100 a month for those same home sizes. Oceanfront and riverfront estates get a custom quote.
How often should windows be cleaned in Fairhope?
Quarterly keeps the salt film, pollen and mildew under control for most Fairhope homes east of Section Street. Bayfront homes on the bluff, Scenic 98 and Fly Creek pick up salt within weeks and do better every month or two. Most people have the inside glass done once a year.
Can you clean the old wood windows in the historic district?
Yes. Many of the homes downtown, in the Fruit and Nut district and in Montrose have original wood sashes and divided panes. We clean them by hand with a small squeegee and a cloth, keep the water off the glazing putty, and never use a pressure washer on them.
Can you remove sprinkler spots from the golf-course side of the house?
In most cases, yes. Mineral spots from well-water irrigation at Rock Creek and Quail Creek need a dedicated treatment rather than a regular clean. Tell us about them on the quote form and we will look at them on the first visit.
